This is the beginning of a regular feature like jotter's High Impact Diaries. We'll be ranking Twitter effectiveness of incumbents and challengers, Democrats and Republicans, for the House, Senate, and Governor races. @Klout changes pretty slowly, over a two to four week cycle, and there is a lot of data to digest.
We'll do Democrats one week, Republicans the next. The House data will appear Tuesday, Senate Wednesday, and Governor race information on Thursday. Fridays will always be a ranking of Kossacks on Twitter coupled with a sort of Mojo Friday type activity in the #dkos hashtag.
We'd like to thank the Blog Workers Industrial Union for doing the leg work tracking down all of the Twitter IDs and @Klout for providing us enhanced access to the best Twitter ranking system on the market. We'd also like to point out that while the list looks small now, new campaigns are adding Twitter to their campaign arsenal daily and we expect by the middle of primary season that these lists will double or even triple in size.
